The directors of the state’s Fire Sense program know well that road-side fires turn often into large-scale range fires. Drivers allowing their towing chains to drag along the roadway are known to have sparked serious fires along the highways in the state.

Unexpected things I learn from this PSA:
— Zeus drives a Ford Excursion with Utah plates.
— Zeus enjoys a good orange soda. (Surely he doesn’t drink and drive.)
— Zeus, as the Father of Gods and Men, rips an outrageously good/bad Dad Joke in the final sentence of his message, a groaner of Olympian proportions. Listen for it.
On 22 August 2021, the month-old YouTube post has had 22,312 views and only 6 likes?!?! C’mon guys. — I, for one, want more of these!!!
I thank former ClCv 241 student Noelle H. for bringing this ad to my attention. I think the piece deserves further attention, a little research that would lead to crediting the ad’s creator(s) and exploring whether other such classical adaptations lurk up their sleeves. Even further investigation might determine the identification of the skygod’s beverage of choice.
